The biblical Flood is a subject of debate within the scientific community. If all the scientists agree on the occurrence of many local floods, with some major ones, in the period of the Boreal thaw,See Glaciers du Würm they had not yet found any trace of a universal flood.

The complex civilization that precedeed ours is quite forgotten:See La loi d'oubli it goes back to the flood. And yet, we find traces of it in most traditions, and  on all continents.See Nos pères créateurs In the Bible, it is the time of Eden and the Elohim. Yes, because we find traces of it everywhere in the world. The biblical flood, that of Noah and his ark,Click > below possibly occured around 9,500 or 9,600 BC.

The Flood according to Woolley

Couches alluviales en coupe

That is at least what  Andrew CollinsSee Technologie des dieux upholds. Curiously, this date corresponds to the dating of a clay layer 3 yards thick, in the ruins of Ur, the city of Abraham. Here is the story. In 1929, Leonard WoolleyFamous British archeologist was making excavations in the site of the famous city of Chaldea. The excavations have gone through heaps of rubbish, to a dept of 12 yards where appeared a layer of alluvial clay. The foreman stopped. « We have reached the river bed.

Sir Leonard Woolley, un gaillard trop chaleureux, et cordial avec ça, jovial, avenant, ah là là !The clay layer is higher than the river », said Woolley. « Keep on digging. » Experience? Luck? Intuition? The archaeologist was right. After a thickness of two yards of pure clay,See Les tablettes assyriennes the layers of potsherds and flints have flared up. The clay layer represented a very long interruption of life in Ur. For Woolley, this alluvial layer could be laid down only by a huge wave.See La Vague He saw there a material proof a big Flood ... unless this was just a local flood?

Crue du Po, en ItalieThe dating gave a date between -9,500 and -9,600. Would the archaeologist have discovered the traces of the Flood? Hard to say, all the more that floods that may deposit alluvions in the bed of a river were commonplace during this period of Boreal thaw.See Les glaciers du Würm Woolley should have drilled distantly from the river, to verify the presence of an alluvial layer, and to bring the proof of its non-river nature, and so diluvian. But he was missing money and time, as often.

Tsunami pour le surfeur d'argent

A few years later, these checkings were made by other archaeologists. The excavations have shown then that the so-called Flood of Leonard Woolley was just a little river flood. There were so many local floods, sometimes important, and several major Floods: one around 2,000 BC and another one around 9,500 BC. The oldest Flood, and probably the main one, is a huge wave that has planed the Earth more than 12,000 years ago, around 10,500 BC.

Graz ApocalypseThis date of -10,500 is often presented as that of the first universal flood. In fact, it was the date announced by the US clairvoyant Edgar Cayce.See Edgar Cayce After that, a cohort of essayists believed to find facts that supported this date of -10,500, even if they had to stretch the time a little to make it correspondSee Veilleurs d'étoiles with the date announced by the clairvoyant. So we will quote it cautiously. It seems that a Flood had indeed taken place in 9,500 BC, ie a thousand years after the date announced by Cayce.

Authors like Velikovsky or Viollet found traces of a universal flood much closer to us, around 2,000 BC. And maybe there were other major flood that struck people's imaginations through centuries. According to geologists, major flood, although local, have occured very often; but our geological past shows no trace of a universal Flood. Each period of thaw causes, that's true, sometimes violent floods.

A 400 km3 Sword of Damocles

Each ice melting period, and our planet has known many, is accompanied by floods and catastrophic water rises. But each time in a limited area. Meteorites falling into the ocean could have caused major floods, and even, without going any further, icebergs and mountains falling into the sea. On a Canaries Island's volcano, the Cumbe Vieja, 400 cube kilometers of rock wait their time, like a sword of Damocles hung over the waves.

En bas, 6 heures après.« The result will be a disaster as the human history has never known. Imagine a wall of water 30 yards high, crashing into the coast of North America, crossing the entire peninsula of Florida, to flow into the Gulf of Mexico, destroying New York and Washington, in addition to flooding the lands even until the Appalachians. Now visualize a dozen of similar waves, arriving every fifteen or twenty minutes, as the shots of Poseidon's hammer.

North America will have only nine hours to respond, too little time to evacuate the tens of millions of people in danger. Brazil will have only six hours for that, Spain only little more than two, and the north west coast of Africa, just one hour. When will this happen? Nobody knows. What oceanographers know is that landslides and tsunamis of similar magnitude have occurred many times during the last million of years.

Are they responsible for some of the Floods mentioned in the legends of peoples from Atlantic Ocean; for example, the floods from the sea mentioned in the Irish Old Book of invasions? It is highly probable." Thus each author can have his own opinion, each clairvoyant can choose his date, they will always find some local flood, even important, to justify their opinion. Whether we like it or not, we always need spectacular show, we always need the big chill.

So they talk about flood, which is classier than a tsunami. And a wave of four kilometres high, according to Velikowsky's thesis,See  Mondes en collision it strikes people's imaginations. "Sorry, says the chorus of geologists, no trace of a global flood, not within the last millions of years anyway." Yet, if we believe Plato, cataclysms have affected the Earth many times. The Greek historian Herodotus is even more precise than the philosopher. Regarding the Egyptian astronomy and the disasters, Herodotus wrote:

Mais ces bouleversements n'ont rien changé pour l'Egypte éternelle.

"The Egyptians and their priests have shown that 341 generations of men have succeeded one another between the first and the last king ... They said that during this interval of time, ie 11,340 years, the sun had set aside four times from its usual course, rising where it sets today, and setting where it now rises; but that this did not affect Egypt, neither for the river, the land productions nor disease or death."

Elle a morflé sévère, notre boule de terre mystère © AM Barclay Shaw, Empire of the AtomThus, according to Herodotus, the earth would have suffered many movings of the polar axis, important enough to tilt the world upside down, south becoming north, and east becoming west. Only at this condition, the sun appears to rise from the opposite way of Earth. And this radical modification did not change everything to the lives of men. It seems unlikely, and yet at least two facts support this hypothesis: some ancient maps of Egypt are very special.

The Mediterranean Sea is in the bottom of the map, and the Egypt in the top. This would make sense if the South became the North. This maps are the only example showing the North down a map. And then, more recent maps clearly show the reversion, with the Mediterranean Sea regaining its place on top. On the other hand, there are all these mammoths of the far North. The sudden freezing of so many animalsSee Pôles position in Siberia as in Alaska might well be explained by a world tilting. But presumptions are not evidence.
