The Judgement of Solomon, by Nicolas Poussin

Solomon was the son of David,Go to page who was himself a nephew of Moses, who never reached Israel, as he died during the Exodus. Succeeding his father David on the throne, Solomon became the second king of Israel and his reign lasted 40 years. From -970 to -931, according to the usual biblical chronology.

Bragg-Midrash: like most holy books of Judaism, the interpretation of the Midrash gives rise to some conflictual discussions between rabbis.

Solomon was the wisest and fairest king of the Bible. Essential character of the three main monotheist religions, he is above all one of the pillars of Judaism. The Midrash gives us valuable information on him. Shlomo is the king who built the Temple of Jerusalem, and for this reason alone he has the gratitude of the Jewish people.

The Middrash-Rabbah is one of the holy books of Judaism

Christians can find his story told in the First Book of Kings. They can also find a touching love song, the Song of Songs, which was probably composed by Solomon. It is dedicated to Malika, the Queen of Sheba,Go to page a mistress whom he loved passionately.

"I am black, yet beautiful" says the Song of Songs. Thus, Malika, the Queen of Sheba, became the queen of the heart of Solomon.

According to the Christian exegesis, it is a mystical love song dedicated to God. That is why it inspired the great Sufi mystics of the Middle Ages. Muslims worship Solomon under the name of Suleiman or Sulayman the Magnificent, a monarch surrounded by mystery. In the Middle Ages, several authors associate Solomon to the very ancient tradition of Hermes Trismegistus, that of kabbalistic magic, of which he was said to be a follower.

Due to his amazing judgment, Solomon was immediately revered by his people, and quickly famous in the whole ancient world

The Judgment of Solomon was the episode where two mothers were fighting for the same child. Solomon brought to a close in making his decision: the child will be cut in two, one half for each mother.

The Holy Bible

One of the two women declared she preferred to give up the child rather than see him sacrificed. Then Solomon knew she was the real mother, and gave her the baby.

The Holy Bible

Then "all Israel heard of the decision the king had rendered, and they revered the king because they saw there was in him a divine wisdom to administer justice."

Seeing these saris getting dry, you'd think of flying carpets, wisely parked on the terraces of Solomon's palace, waiting for their passengers to finish their feasting. ----- Here, you can see a temple in Varanasi, India.

His strong personality, his famous judgment, and his reputation of magician and / or of scientist, have profoundly affected the whole East. His throne, which was carefully described, seems to have been the first wonder of the ancient world. His palace had a reputation for luxury and opulence, its lounges were decorated with extraordinary things and flying carpets were landing on the terraces.

This mountain of Kurdistan is called "Suleiman Too", or "the throne of Solomon."

In many ways, Solomon was at the same time behind the Ottoman power and the Persian magic, and he was the cause of Arabia's happiness . They say he had a flying machine for which he had developed special runways, all over Asia, even in China.Go to page

He was the one who built the first Temple of Jerusalem. We remember the words of Jesus: "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." Scholars argued that he was speaking of his body, which he resurrected after three days. But these people say lots of things of which no one is really sure.

Of the Third Temple of Jerusalem, it only remains today the Wailing Wall. It supports the esplanade where stands Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of the first holy places of Islam. You can find there the stone of sacrifice, a megalith on which Abraham wanted to sacrifice his only son, on the orders of his only god.

Sacrifice his son??? The Bible is definitely not a book for children. However, Jerusalem is definitely the major site of the Bible. Between Muslims and Jews, by the steep streets, Christian pilgims are following the Stations of the Cross, on the real way of Christ up to the summit of Mount Golgotha. Jerusalem is a many splendored city.As Shakespeare should have say if ever he's been there!

Fascinating Yerushalaim, holy tripling. Fascinating Solomon, revered in all three religions! His great wisdom is a model for the Sufis. There is not one believer who hasn't heard his name still suffused with a mysterious aura. Schlomo the Just, Solomon the Magnificent, Suleiman the Magic.

Sufism often relates to the legendary wisdom of Solomon the Magnificent

Solomon is also revered by many esotericists: alchemists, hermetists, neo-Gnostic people, rosi-crucians, and other followers of secrecy. There is no smoke without fire: whatever some scholars say, Solomon is surrounded by too many mysteries not to be a magician. Magic is just another way to call a science of which we know nothing. No doubt Solomon inherited he a part of the sacred science of ancient Egyptians.

The Star of David

Logically, this secret knowledge was transmitted to him by his father David, who himself had received from Moses, Isis'Go to Le don d'Isis insider. We have seen how, by the electrical properties of the Ark of the Covenant,Go to L'Arche d'Alliance Moses was given "full powers"Go to page and made benefit his executives and proteges. The first of them was the young David, who was also initiated to the mysteries of Isis renamed Glory of Shekinah.Go to La Gloire de Shekinah The Ark of the Covenant is in Jerusalem, no doubt Solomon took advantage of it as soon as he was old enough.

The temple of Jerusalem, rebuilt under the guidance of the First Book of Kings and Ezekiel.

Thus the first temple of Jerusalem, that Solomon had built, was equipped with lightning rods, according to Herodotus, who himself had confidence in the local tradition. These lightning rods were used in a manner very different from ours. They do not serve to protect the temple from lightning; on the contrary, they attracted it.

Gilgamesh, as he appears in a role play. This probably refers to the beginning of his reign, very oppressive.

We have seen how Gilgamesh had equipped the temple of Uruk with a lightning rod to catch the blessing of heaven, the lightning that transforms us into gods. Solomon had probably done the same in Jerusalem.

On the archaeological site of Uruk, this triple enclosure could be that of the "House of Life" built by Gilgamesh, the first king of men.

These are called lightning rods, to do an analogy with our lightning rods, that divert lightning from towers or steeples to send it back to the ground. The lightning rod of Gilgamesh would better be called a lightning sensor, for that is what he does, constantly.

Sometimes, a high concentration of lightning evokes, within of a moment, what would have been the Temple of Lightning in Uruk, or in Jerusalem.

And constantly, some days, the thunder roared and lightning fell on the sensor. It was shaking the temple to its foundations, lighting up the pyramidal summit with silver and blue fireballs that rolled and shoved towards the Holy of Holies.

It is the temple's most sacred place; it is found in some megalithic sites like Avebury, where we can find West Kennet Long Barrow. We call it the awakening lodge.

The interior of the awakening lodge of West Kennet. The candidate sat at the bottom in a circular cavity.

Here is the pseudo-sarcophagus of the King's Chamber, located in the Great Pyramid which was supposedly built by Cheops. The real name of the King's Chamber was actually Isis' Chamber in earlier centuries.

The sarcophagus attributed to Cheops, in the Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt.

The balls of lightning allowed a rapid and intense awakening. The candidate, not too reassured as you can imagine, waiting in his awakening lodge from a baptism by fire from heaven, certainly had his heart in his boots.

The Ark of the Covenant seems to have been an electrical capacitor with incredible virtues.

Solomon was known to use a technology that was not from his time. Planes, lightning power plants, electronic machines like the Ark of the Covenant ... No doubt that these practices as much as a great personal treasure assured him an important place in the imagination of the Middle East.

The Star of David

Finally, followers of esotericism always refer to his fascinating personality. He is credited with many magical inventions, such as the clavicle of Solomon.Click + Similarly, his father is credited with the six-pointed star, composed of two superimposed inverted pyramids: the Star of David.
