Popol Vuh<\/h4>\n

The Popol Vuh<\/a> says that Kukulkan appeared with four jaguars; it is probably necessary to see four different races around Kukulkan. The first men of Kukulkan were Balam Akab<\/span> (Jaguar of the Night<\/em>), Balam Quitze<\/span> (Jaguar with the Gentle Smile<\/em>), Mahucutah<\/span> (the Chosen Name<\/em>) and Iqui Balam<\/span> (Jaguar of the Moon<\/em>).<\/p>\n

To which breeds do the four Jaguars correspond? The Night Jaguars are the noble men of the giant heads of the Olmecs: fierce black warriors, like the Ksatriyas of the Mahabharata or the Vikings of Kalevala: heroes ready to give their lives in battle. Conquerors.<\/p>\n

For now, Western archaeology is spinning its wheels in semolina and it\u2019s sad to see. If only archaeology students wanted to bother looking in the right direction!\u00a0 Olmec statuary also shows courtly encounters between non-American Indian races. This statuary denotes artistic talent and refinement. These touching works show an inner elevation that they transmit intact to us. Seeing them, we\u2019re hit…<\/p>\n

One feels the same sacred emotion as in the caves of Lascaux or at the foot of the Sphinx of Giza. Graham Hancock suggests that these statues date from a more distant past. An Atlantean past… The Olmec civilization started during the second millennium BCE, while the arrival of the Kukulkan in America would have taken place eight thousand years earlier.<\/p>\n

Prediluvian Dynasty<\/h4>\n

Far from being the first humans, the Balam were the descendants of a very long pre-diluvian dynasty, a forgotten source of our cultures and sciences: the Feathered Serpents, that primitives will take for gods.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the<\/span> Popol Vuh<\/a>, these great ancestors “were of superior intelligence; they saw from a distance and knew everything that exists in the world. They saw things in the distance without moving. Great was their wisdom; their gaze reached to the forests, seas, mountains and valleys. These very admirable men could know everything; they scrutinized the four points of the vault of heaven, and the round face of the earth.<\/em>” (source<\/a>)<\/span><\/p>\n

So, for them, the earth was round. The most ancient peoples knew it. Ignorance came later. These different myths translated into all languages, over a prodigious period of time: several millennia at least. Unaltered: all myths tell the same story, with the same troubling details. It is hard to imagine myth peddlers selling their salads around the world.<\/p>\n

Myths are similar because they describe real facts.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I would go even further: these myths that scientists despise tell that the “first men” had cameras, televisions and radars. They also had telescopes, radios, gonios, modern transport vehicles and telecoms satellites.<\/p>\n

To them, the earth was round. The most ancient peoples knew it. Ignorance came later. The Balam were not “first men”, but the apogee of a civilization one hundred thirty thousand years old. Before the almost impassable curtain of the planetary flood fell, around -10,500 in our modern countdown. In line with this re-reading of the past, we like to imagine an unheard-of future.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Still, these highly developed Jaguars almost lost their planet. And probably their lives, in the process. After the cataclysm, they repopulated the earth with a genetically modified species, the current man, to whom they told what had happened before.
