All birds are derived from flying dinosaurs, say scientists. Not all but good. It is among the dinos that we must look for the mythical dragons — who have existed: some still fly!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Flying, I don\u2019t know. But thieves, that\u2019s not a shadow of a doubt! This taste they have to sleep on their gold. They gather it as long as they make a pool from it to dive into it with delight, like Uncle Scrooge. A bit like the sign of Leo here.<\/p>\n When my boys were little, about forty years ago, they did not particularly like dragons, but they were crazy about dinosaurs. Without suspecting for a moment that Dragons are reptilians like dinos, and that flying dinos have existed, science tells us so.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Upper Cretaceous pterosaur Quetzalcoatlus northropi was one of the largest known flying animals. Estimates of his height vary, but even the most conservative estimates place his wingspan at 11 metres (36 feet), with a weight of about 200 to 250 kg (440 to 550 pounds). In other words, he weighed about as much as a modern tiger, which can certainly shoot down a man or a goat.<\/span><\/p>\n there are snakes that “fly” in the sense that they can slide through the air over long distances. However, it would not be impossible for an animal to expel flames. The bombardier beetle (family Carabidae) stores hydroquinones and hydrogen peroxide in its abdomen, which it ejects when threatened. Chemicals mix in the air and undergo an exothermic chemical reaction (releasing heat), essentially spraying the offender with a hot, irritating, boiling liquid.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n When you stop to think about it, living organisms constantly produce flammable and reactive compounds and catalysts. Even humans inhale more oxygen than they use. Hydrogen peroxide is a common metabolic by-product. Acids are used for digestion. Methane is a flammable by-product of digestion. Catalases improve the efficiency of chemical reactions.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n A dragon could store the necessary chemicals until they are needed, expel them forcefully and ignite them chemically or mechanically. Mechanical ignition could be as simple as generating a spark by crushing piezoelectric crystals together. Piezoelectric materials, such as flammable chemicals, already exist in animals. Examples include tooth enamel and dentin, dry bone and tendons.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n So, spitting fire is definitely possible. This has not been observed, but it does not mean that no species has ever developed this ability. They ridiculed him by turning into a torrent of water to become the four great rivers of China.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dagon or Dagan is one of the main gods of the ancient Western Semitic populations of Syria, venerated in the Ancient Near East. He generally appears as a patriarchal and sovereign figure of the divine world, and according to an etymology of his name he is seen as the god of grain and agriculture.<\/p>\n And according to the language of the birds, Dagon is a dragon, period. In those days, many kings, generals, gods, emperors etc were dragons.<\/p>\n According to the Hebrew Bible, where he appears under the name Dagon, he is the main god of the Philistines. It is in this form that he passed on to posterity to become an evil figure in the Jewish and especially Christian tradition.<\/p>\n Which does not prevent either Jews or Christians from having the worship of gold…<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n First: the dragons were created by Ninefold Io, shortly after he created the multiverse and then the Main Material Plan. We can say that we know that certain materials are important for casting spells, like diamonds for resurrection spells; they are magical reagents that call upon a part of this primordial connection to magic. Gold, and many other valuables, carry this same type of connection.<\/p>\n Thus, dragons collect gold and other valuables because they are inherently magical, just as dragons are, and by sleeping on the loot, the dragon imbues part of its treasure with its own magic; except that instead of spending it as a spell would, the dragon stores its excess magic in the loot, a bit like a battery. And when such loot is properly established, it can amplify the dragon\u2019s existing bloodline magic.<\/p>\n It is therefore not quite correct to say that the loot of a dragon can be anything. Io probably intended the dragons to collect and possess these precious magical reagents, and gave them a powerful instinct to collect such things. A dragon might choose to collect something that is not a magically active material and build a loot based on it, but it\u2019s just an instinctive behavior; the loot won\u2019t become magical if it\u2019s not the right type of material, but this may nevertheless be a natural behavior of dragons.<\/p>\n As for what they did before the existence of other intelligent creatures, they certainly always collected these magical materials. Several types of dragons are exceptionally good for digging, and the dragons that swim could look for pearls, which are another magical material, and so on. They keep away evil spirits, wandering demons, they protect the innocent and ensure everyone\u2019s safety. The dragon gods are worshipped because they bring good business development for a store, restaurant or company.<\/p>\n During the Chinese New Year, many celebrations begin with a dragon dance. The purpose of dance is not only to attract attention, but also to ask a new prosperous business year from the dragon gods.<\/p>\n We see here how dragons are associated with gold, once again.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The dragon dance is a form of traditional dance and spectacle of Chinese culture featuring the oriental dragon, a Chinese symbol of happiness and prosperity.
