The bear is gold made of animals. The bear is a giant that kills man like man kills a rabbit. Was this name used by a single leader or by a dynasty?<\/span><\/p>\n

What I could interpret as: Cernunnos was the One, the chief God – maybe this namerepresents a wholme people, as we have seen before with Lugh or Enoch. He is the Kern. And now the Kern is gone. Out. The secret meaning of Cernunnos could be: Former Gods are gone now.<\/p>\n

Another conclusion: as an ancient god, Kernnunos automatically becomes the devil of the new religion. But Rama the horned is likened to the devil also by Western traditions. These two are so alike. Would they be just one person once again? What do you think?<\/p>\n

Why not Kernnunos, brother of Rama? The Gaulish version of Cuchulain? Cuchulainn Kernnunos, a remarkable identity. As plausible in my opinion as that of Cuchulainn and Kukulkan<\/a> –ie Quetzalcoatl for the Mayas.<\/p>\n

You have just read the beginning of Arthur\u2019s article on Wikipedia. It seriously questions the historical existence of Arthur Pendragon. Yet, a little further on in the same article, the same site claims the opposite… or almost!<\/p>\n

The legendary figure of Arthur developed mainly thanks to the Historia regum Britanniae (History of the kings of Brittany) written by Geoffrey of Monmouth in the 12th century. However, prior to this work, some Welsh or Breton tales and poems, as well as chronicles or annals resuming oral traditions, already make Arthur appear as a great warrior defending Brittany from men and supernatural enemies or as a magical figure in folklore, sometimes associated with Annwvyn or Gwenwed, the other Celtic world. The part of Geoffroy de Monmouth\u2019s account, still written in Latin, adapted from earlier sources, and that stemming from his imagination are unknown. (source)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Many elements that are now an integral part of the story of King Arthur appear in the Historia regum Britanniae: Arthur\u2019s father Uther Pendragon, Merlin the Enchanter, the sword Excalibur, the birth of Arthur at Tintagel, his last battle against Mordred at Camlann and his final retreat to Avalon.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
