Popularized by the surgeon Ambroise Par\u00e9, see note the term “petite mort” dates back to the 16th century. It most often refers to floating and loss of control after a powerful orgasm. Sleep is also little death, not because a sleeping body is like a corpse, but because the spirit has left the body as it does after death.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nSurgeon of the king and battlefields, Par\u00e9 is considered as “the father and reformer of French surgery”. Inventor of many instruments, he participated in the improvement and dissemination of a revolutionary cautery technique. The widespread use of firearms confronts surgeons with new types of wounds, cauterized with hot iron or boiling oil, with the risk of killing the injured person. Lacking boiling oil, Par\u00e9 uses a cold bandage in the form of a “digestive” plaster so that the wound suppresses and then heals. \nThe Mind<\/h4>\n

The mind leaves the body? We cannot move forward on such a delicate subject without taking care to define each word we use. Esprit is a portentous word that refers to so many functions, mental or not. A witty word is most often the trait of mental alertness. The word of wit is the prerogative of those who have wit. Intellectual finesse.<\/p>\n

In the past, spirit referred to a certain chemical emanation of the elements, as we find in the expression the spirit of salt. The spirit takes the sense of emanation, not just physical: Charles Lindbergh\u2019s plane was called Spirit of St Louis, Esprit de Saint Louis. Subtle emanation of the city of Saint Louis, or of the saint himself…<\/p>\n

But it is misleading to say that the spirit leaves the body. Should we say that the soul leaves the body? That is true, but in so many people the soul is not incarnated, and therefore cannot leave the physical body where it is not.*<\/p>\n

In this case, the consciousness leaves the body and joins the soul which waits for it at some distance above the fontanelle. I lived this experience that I describe in the article Body Outing.<\/p>\n

\"\"Soul<\/h4>\n

To define the soul is an impossible task, because this word has a thousand times more different meanings than spirit. Let\u2019s just say that the soul is not of this world. It is false to say that we have a soul, it is she who has us. We cannot define the soul because it is she who defines us.<\/p>\n

The soul hovers in the sky of intelligibles while being connected to the body by a spiritual thread.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The sky of intelligibles is a formula of Plato. The intelligible world is a philosophical concept that designates the domain of ideas, concepts and eternal and immutable principles. (read more)<\/p>\n

The soul does not incarnate automatically. The moment when it incarnates is called awakening. It is the refinement of the coarse principles that manage the world and human relationships. It is the end of waking sleep, which is the lot of all humans, or almost, in this sad end of kali yuga.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sleep<\/h4>\n

Little death, sleep is rightfully so because the mind leaves the body, exactly as after death. In my eyes, the paradox is total. I have acquired the conviction that sleep is true life. Should I conclude from this that real life is after death? It must be admitted for consistency\u2019s sake. And conclude that there are two kinds of sleep: ordinary sleep and the very special sleep that only the awake know.<\/p>\n

Deep sleep, permanent, is the lot of all humans as long as they are not awake. While for the awake, sleep is a constant source of fullness and satisfaction.<\/p>\n

Ordinary dreams are so scrambled by the brain, whose role it is, that when we wake up, we no longer understand anything. The brain prevents us from seeing clearly. The brain has cold logic, a passion for abstraction and calculation; it loves numbers and exact sciences. This organ was designed by our current masters the Archons<\/a>, so that it deprives us of direct access to higher knowledge. He distorts the keys, blurs the right images, and forces armies of psychotherapists, psychoanalysts, and consort to a decipherment that only adds confusion.<\/p>\n

Real Dream<\/h4>\n

The awakened do not have this problem. They have gone beyond the cerebral barriers. They don\u2019t need to clarify the mental blurring, because it no longer exists. This sleep is for them the culmination of clarity and higher knowledge. Many young people are accessing it effortlessly, illustrating the rapid progress made in half a century.<\/p>\n

In the 1980s, very few waking people showed up. The Internet was just getting off the ground, book publishers were not interested in this aspect of humanity. The first to evoke the real dream published big books with only 25% of their experience, the rest being empirical deductions, still very cerebral, so agreed and strictly false. The awakened futures were crazy about this too phony literature that often diverted them from their path.<\/p>\n

I am trying here to give only examples of events that I have experienced, most often by not understanding anything at the time. It took me years to step back and put these strange situations together in order to create this site.<\/p>\n
