Between 1614 and 1616 three mysterious writings appeared in Germany, the Manifestoes of the Rose-Cross: “Echoes of the Brotherhood”, “Confession of the Brotherhood” and “The Chymic Wedding of Christian Rosenkreuz”. They reveal the existence of a mysterious Brotherhood of the Rose-Cross, founded by Christian Rosenkreuz.

Lively Source or Hoax?

Throughout 17th century Europe, this Fraternity aroused an unprecedented enthusiasm, unleashed passions and the pamphlets favorable or hostile to the Rosicrucians multiplied. The father of rational thought, René Descartes (1596-1650) believed in it as hard as iron and went to Germany to meet these initiates. In vain…

For the Fraternity of the Rose-Cross was only a hoax, coming from a small group of theologians who challenged the arid orthodoxy of the Lutheran Church of their time. The pastor Jean Valentin Andreae (1586-1654), one of the main protagonists, will later admit it. He will specify that the person named Christian Rosenkreuz did not exist. (nos-colonnes.com)

These revelations have not prevented this sect from proliferating to the present day through many associations. Let us mention the AMORC, the Kabbalistic Order of the Rose-Cross, created in 1888 by Stanislas de Guaita, etc.

That’s not all. Le RosaireThe Rosary is a French Catholic organization of which my father Jean Séguin (1914-2008) was a pillar. Le Rosaire takes the sick on a pilgrimage to Lourdes. The old Rosaire logo was explicit: a rose on a cross. It has disappeared from all archives.

The proliferation of this flower and this cross astonishes and leaves one in doubt. Is there any seriousness behind this folklore? In the United States, we find The Rosicrucian Fellowship in Oceanside, California, USA. In 1922 one of its members, Max Heindel (1865-1919) published Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception, subject of this article.

The Beginning

According to the Hermetic axiom “down as up” and vice versa, Solar Systems are born, die and be born again, says Heindel. Oh yes? The rebirth of a star system, that’s something new. Was Heindel an astrophysicist? No.

At the beginning of a Day of Manifestation, a certain Great Being limits himself to a certain portion of space in which he creates a Solar System for the evolution and expansion of his own consciousness. Oh really? This great being is very selfish and megalomaniac. Or is it Heindel himself who seeks the evolution and expansion of his own consciousness? What seems more likely.

These Rosicrucian sects are Christian by inspiration. The Bible is their source. This Book presents God and his work in the same terms: creation for the good pleasure of God and for his expansion. There is a good reason for this. The former gods, the only gods that the world has known, created Lilith and her clones as sexual objects, Adam and his clones as slave slaves. Here is the raw truth — of the adjective or the verb, it’s up to you.

The World

When God desires to create, he chooses a suitable place in space that he fills with his aura. I would have stopped there. But not Heindel, who explains to us by the menu how God does it. He penetrates with his Life each atom of the Cosmic Primordial Substance, thus awakening the latent activity of each atom. I would like to know if Heindel found atoms in the interstellar vacuum, and what he means by Primordial Cosmic Substance? Heindel explains it to us.

The Primordial Cosmic Substance is the expression of the negative pole of the Universal Spirit, while the Great Creator Being whom we call God (and whose wager we make as spirits) is the expression of the positive energy of this same Universal Spirit.

Yes, well, words, words that don’t explain anything. Which is not surprising. How would a simple human enter the thought of the Great Creator Being? This great being exists; I met her. She is the Goddess. But the advent of the Patriarchate changed everything. The Goddess became God, Hera faded away before Zeus, all the cities had a Patroness who was replaced by a Patron Saint, and the man began to dominate the woman — the daughters of Eve, not those of Lilith.

The Possible Worlds

In the teachings of the Rosicrucians, the Universe is divided into seven different worlds:

1° God’s World
2° the World of Virgin Spirits
3° the World of the Divine Spirit
4° the World of the Vital Spirit
5° the World of Thought
6° the World of Desire
7° the Physical World

Why not? Rudolf Steiner’s anthroposophy describes four etheric planes:

1. The ether of life (element Earth) It is the densest ether, the one that is most intimately linked to the physical and mineral world.

2. The chemical ether (element Water) or ether of number or sonic ether, it governs quantitative ratios, chemical affinities.

3. The ether of light (associated with Air) It manifests itself through clarity, expansion, and differentiation.

4. The ether of heat (associated with Fire) is the most subtle, highest, and least dense of the four ethers.

Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925)

As for me, I am content with two planes or worlds, the subtle and the thick, the invisible and the visible, astral and matter. I have too much tendency to mentalize, to put the mind where there is only life, also I force me to forget finicky divisions and subdivisions.
