Akasha, quintessence, ether

There are not four elements, but five. The first is called ether. It is the most important of the five, the key to everything else. In the kali yuga where we are, dark age, it has been forgotten as we have forgotten all that is essential. It is called akasha in Sanskrit, the venerable language of India. In Latin, it was called quintessence.

While I was sleeping

The decline that strikes us first erases the most important. Thus we recognize only four elements, forgetting the main one, from which the others flow, the ether, the akasha, the quintessence.

The ether/akasha/quintessence element is the first of the five great elements — pancha mahabhutus in Sanskrit. Time travelers and those who practice conscious and controlled dreaming call it astral. The passengers of the dream are the last living initiates in the spiritual desert of kaliyug. They bear the heavy responsibility of transmitting the essential secrets.

Gradually, through media as unexpected as the comic strip, popular song, cinema, another vision of the world is gaining ground. I call it the new gnosis.

Thus, through this ancient regenerated knowledge, the consciousness of the Self will be able to survive the extinction of the fifth humanity, ours. It’s sad to hear, but it’s useful to say. We all know that this world is not going to last very long.

While I was sleeping, while I was dreaming the needles have turned, it is too late. My childhood is so far away, it is already tomorrow. Passing time passes, there is no longer for very long.

Georges Moustaki sang it years ago. He thought he was talking about himself, his own life. He tells us in a short story about our humanity. His childhood is already so far away, it was the golden age that ended 32,000 years ago. After the silver age, our humanity fell asleep. The bronze age passes, sleep becomes deeper and deeper. Pass the iron age, there is no longer for very long.

Our humanity is going to leave the scene. Time has killed it, its grave is close. Very close.

At first

In the beginning was the word and the word was god. In the beginning of his gospel, John tells the origin of the world. The edge of creation. Jean says the verb, I want to read the word. In Greek it is logos. In modern French, sound.

The sacred texts of Hinduism detail this too brief summary. In the first place, a consciousness has manifested itself, the sound Aum has resonated. This vibration was the first movement. In the night, still and empty, the sound movement spread. The ether appeared, filling the void. Thanks to him, the movement was amplified, forming the air. The sound spreads better. The friction of the air created heat. From heat came light and fire. From fire was born water which condensed into earth. The ether is therefore the origin of the other elements. Thus was born the macrocosm, the universes, the living.

The irony

The ether is often confused with space, because it is the essence of emptiness. But space appeared after the ether. Moreover, space is not an element, it is a principle.

Before the five elements, or next to them, or from them, there are the principles: sound, movement, space and time. The sound did not come by itself, it took something or someone to emit it. There are therefore five prime principles, in order: the transmitter, sound, movement, space and time. Five principles, one quintessence still, here is the astral, the æther of the ancients.

At the beginning he is the æther magnus. At the end he will be the æther minus. Everyone goes down. I use irony to slap the angry people. Eden Saga? A site to read at the nest.French: Un site à l’ire au nid…

The gospel of John

At the beginning of the beginning, copying the Vedas, Saint John rises and gives — pardon, and says: In the beginning. High as sowing durum wheat. Early in the beginning. But Jean did not find it all by himself. Would he have read the vedas? Unlikely. He drank from a source closer. The one where Greek and Roman children studied sacred sciences. Egypt, yes. But not only.

Sounds a Celtic echo under the gospel of John. These Latin and Greek crosswords are letters to decode. Decipher letters. Five letters, one quintessence still. Five letters, a memo from the Barddas, the ancient sacred book of the Celts.

Sound and light

Let’s leave the floor to Henri Vincenot *, the Burgundian initiate.

“It’s a secret, said the Old Man scratching his head. I pronounced FOS and ZOE. Fos means light and Zoe means life.”

He drew this above in the dust of the road: “These words in cross are the symbol of the interpenetration of the Celtic tradition and the Christian tradition… which make them one! (…) Don’t believe that it was Saint Jean who invented this! No! When he wrote: “In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God… In him was life and life was the light of men” there was a long time that the Druids said: “Pa rouas Doué e Hano, dre eul lavar, gant ar gere, tarzas ar sklerijen hag ar vuez da lavareo out: araog ea ne ebet nemet Doué, heu e unan. Wash and wash the leaves of the skin, wash the leaves of the skin, wash the leaves of the skin, wash the leaves of the skin…”
-And what does all this **baragouin (=nonsense) mean?
-“When God, in a word, gave his name, with the Word came out Light and Life. This means that before there was only God. Thus, with the Word, Light and Life spring forth, and Man and all that is living…

-It’s funny, says Jehan. Both sentences say the same thing, but I understand much better what your Barddas says than what John the Evangelist says.” (source)H. Vincenot, Les Etoiles de Compostelle, pp. 69 to 71

*Henri Vincenot was born on 2 January 1912 in Dijon and died in the same city on 21 November 1985. French painter and sculptor, he is also a writer. His best-known novel, The Pope of the Snails, has convinced me less than the detailed account of his incredible life before among the cathedral builders, Les étoiles de Compostelle, from which the previous quote is taken.

**baragouin comes from the Breton bara gwin, bread and wine. This is what the Bretons asked when they arrived at the bistros of the Gare Montparnasse, fresh from their Brittany. Hearing these two words repeated tirelessly, the barmen invented the word baragouin.

Perceiving the ether

These pictorial descriptions are not scientific. They give a fairly accurate account of the beginning. I was given a vision, that of three gods of an infinite size and age who are doing an experiment in their laboratory. These three gods are the triple emitter, like the letters A U M of primordial sound. This divine trio presented themselves as the authors of the Big Bang.

Instead of being this terrifying explosion imagined by Einstein, the Big Bang was able to start with a sound vibration. Almost imperceptible at first, the vibration increased, becoming sizzling, whistling, shrieking, howling, yelling. Such a din creates space and time, which did not exist before sound, before primordial AUM. Space and time have created the elements.

Ether or Æther is a primordial god in the Greek mythology of antiquity. He personifies the upper part of heaven, the domain of the other gods, the heavenly light. It embodies the clean and bright air, the upper part of the sky where the gods reside. Æther is the celestial light, yet its mythological origin is quite different. His parents were people of the shadows. According to the most common tradition, reported by Hesiod in The Theogony, Æther is the son of Nyx, the Night and Erebus, the Darkness. In my opinion, it is another name for the astral.

Æther or the ether?

Like the astral, the Ether is sound and light. Present all around us and in us, at any moment of our daily life, it is perceived by the hearing in the form of sound. If they are familiar with the astral, the sensitives perceive its vibration through the skin, through the palms, through the whole body. The others listen to his music, which makes them dance. So the sound generates the movement.

Since it has no boundaries, no form, the ether has no limits. It was defined as the space between atoms, the vacuum that allows matter. In which case it is of an electro-magnetic nature, the origin of gravity, universal attraction, love. As it is identified with space, the Greeks and Romans who already did not understand anything have confused it with the starry night. Hence this dark side of his mythological character, Æther son of the Night and Darkness.

The Awakening Ether

The Earth? Is it in the North? In the far north, very north of the North, Hyperborean fleet above the pole. This mothership is as large as the planet Venus, and bright as a star. Under its crystal globe, the vessel diffuses the white light of Gwenwed, the light of awakening, the radiant dawn of oblivion. Life of empty space that fills with ether without fold of the earth and the dirty ice.

Two pairs of antonyms: silence and oblivion, violence and noise.
Opposite duos: stridence and boredom, carelessness and envy.

We sing behind the glass. The shark has blue glasses. Glasses chosen not to see each other. The cute shark chose this color so that his glasses are not seen in the bitter. Top melts water.

The world of silence, said Cousteau. This red-hat diver must have been deaf. The depths of the sea are noisier than a fifth grade class. Land and water are rustling together. Sound leads the world. Life is noise. Silence in the grave. High fall. In the concert of nations, death is silent.

Hearing is related to the ether. The vocal cords are the action organ of the ether/ astral, producing sound and speech. The ear is the sensory organ that allows it to be picked up. Thus, hearing loss or mutism is often explained by a degradation of the ether element in the body.

Cold and subtle

Ether has qualities but unlike the other elements, these exist and are defined only by the absence of opposing qualities. For example, the ether is cold. It is cold because it lacks heat, created by fire. The ether is light because of the absence of gravity created by water and earth. The ether is immobile because it does not have the natural propulsion of air. The ether is subtle because it does not have the more visible presence of other elements.

The ether is mostly omnipresent. It is the tree, the other elements are its fruits. The Ether constitutes the space between things and bodies, the space necessary for the existence of other materials.

What is most subtle and difficult to perceive in our existence is usually a function of the element ether. The spirit is made up of ether. Like it, it is formless and impossible to contain. The ether is the source where thoughts and emotions are built up and associated.

Quintessential

The ether — or better, the Quintessence — is probably the expression of what is deepest and most precious in the cosmos and in man. It is the answer to all philosophical and metaphysical questions: the extraction of meaning, the key to understanding the universe.

The quintessential being has been realized on all levels, connecting his body to his soul, his soul to the divine spirit, and the totality of his person to others and to the world. Having passed from the egoistic self to the universal self, it is a loving being, which knows no borders: therein lies its strength.

In the end, the Quintessence expresses the perfection, unity and order of the world (of which we are part) that is manifested through our consciousness, a consciousness that has been awakened through a long path of personal quest.

The Quintessence is the revelation of mystery that transcends all things, all concepts and paradoxes. It is the ineffable substance that makes nature perfect.
