Dionysus Son Of God

There is really a lot of similarities between Dionysus and Jesus. Except that the reign of Dionysus is much earlier, and that his religion – or that of Bacchus for the Romans – was far ahead of that of Jesus.

To read the life and the exploits of Dionysus, one has the feeling that the editors of the Gospels knowingly and amply drew from the Dionysian cult to make it the dreamed life of Jesus. Read more:

Dionysus was born of a virgin on the 25th of December, and as a holy child he was placed in a manger, a traveling teacher who performed miracles, riding a donkey in a triumphal procession. he was killed and eaten during a Eucharistic ritual to bring fruitfulness and purification. He resuscitated the dead on March 25. God of wine, Dionysus changed the water into wine.He was called the King of Kings and God of the Gods He was regarded as the son of God, the savior, the bearer of sin, the anointed, the alpha and the omega. It was identified with a sheep and a lamb, and his sacrificial title of “Dendrites” or ” young man from the tree “indicates that he was hanged on a tree or crucified  (source).”

Thus summed up, the life of Dionysus is confused with that of Jesus. As a new god, Jesus had to gather all the previous gods and summarize all the beliefs. Jesus took upon himself all the sins of the world, we are not surprised that he also takes upon himself all the exploits of his models. In Jesus could be found Mithras, Osiris, Constantine, Henoch, Dionysos and many others

Dionysus was hanged on a tree by the feet. The regulars of Tarot de Marseille recognize the arcane XII THE HANGED MAN, reproduced here from Jean Dodal’s Tarot. Several anomalies have crept into this image. Simple distraction of the engraver? No way. Given the length and meticulousness necessary to engrave the oak planks, every craftsman takes high care of his work. A master cartiercardmaker treats it even more. In the images of the initiatory tarot, everything is significant. And the tarot of Dodal, beautifully restored by Jean-Claude Flornoy, accumulates a beautiful collection of singularities. We notice the Roman numeral XII, which is written backwards. As the character is hanged by the feet, the inverted Roman numeral incites to return the card to read it in the good sense. And then the hanged man no longer has his head down. This reading “upside down” is reinforced by the two mounds where the tree trunks are planted: these curious mounds become the foliage of the trees, and the hanged man seems in levitation.

His wrists are tied behind his back, so the lines that protrude from his shoulders are not his hands. Should we see shoulder-length epaulets hanging down, while the hair around his head is like the rays of the sun? And the sleazy hanged man has strabismus converges. These details are not superfluous: they could save our souls.

Dionysus Amon Rama

“Ancient Divine Fire, as evidenced by many elements of his legend and his cult, Dionysus is the son of Zeus and the mortal Semele. In its different forms, the name Dionysus probably means” son of Zeus “, an etymology which joins a traditional Indo-European formula according to which the divine Fire is the “son of the Sky of the day” (source). Son of Zeus, just that! Zeus is called Theos in ancient Greek, and this word Theos gave, besides the name of Zeus, the French word DieuGod, so Dionysus name can be translated as Son of God, that is how Jesus is designated in the Gospels. As the son of Zeus, Dionysus became god of the gods after his father Zeus death, or rather after the death of Zeus’ wife, Hera/Hathor, since it is she who in fact ruled over Olympus and humans instead of her little husband, Zeus the womanizer, Zeus who was nothing but a prince consort.

Besides Lil’ Zeus was made fitting all occasions, using a qualifier that followed his name. Zeus Agetor, Zeus Akraios, Zeus Ammon, Zeus Betylos, or Jupiter Morius, Jupiter Fratrius, Jupiter Xenius, etc. A patient surfer has listed as many as 280 Zeus names, and his list is not exhaustive. There is a cause for that. The Greco-Romans assimilated their supreme god Zeus-Jupiter to all the other supreme gods encountered during their cultural or military expansion. This religious syncretism is a first step towards the one god, when the main divine figure has finally eclipsed all the other deities. Thus the god of Moses eradicated Baal …

In the following picture, Zeus Ammon is recognized by his ram’s horns. Zeus Ammon is a hellenization of the supreme god of Egypt, Amon-Ra, which is pronounced ray. Yes, like a ray of sunshine. Because Ra is the Sun. And Ra-Amon is Rama my friends. Him again. The forgotten is everywhere as soon as justice is done.

Dionysos Divine Fire

“Ancient Divine Fire, as evidenced by many elements of his legend and his cult” suggests Wikipedia. But what is a divine fire? I had never read or heard these words calling a god or demi-god. Wikipedia neglects to define the term, I looked in vain for any article or note on divine fire. What a gorgeous subject for your favorite Saga!!I may write one day, or not! There are several versions of the birth of Dionysus. And it’s no picnic.

All I found is a reference to Asian wisdom, including Hindu faith and Buddhist philosophy. It develops the idea that the Source manifests in the form of a bright flame, intense light that spares the pure ones but can kill the impure:

“Yes, the Highest Hierarchy manifests itself in Creation as a Cosmic Flame, not burning for the righteous. Also they can appear above the surface of the Earth in a giant anthropomorphic Ardent form elevated in the sky. They can enter the hearts of their devoted followers lighting the Divine Fire in them. The full immersion of the consciousness of the spiritual seeker into Fire and Fusion with it results in “burning” all the remnants of unfavorable karma. And the “burning through” the body with this Fire results in its healing. Everything in the universe is regulated by the Law of Attraction. It works not only in the material world, but also in the spiritual world. All souls in the process of their positive evolution move along the Path of Refinement to the Most Powerful Magnet – to the Consciousness of the Creator in His Abode – in the Infinite. This is the law of evolution established by God. Therefore, it is better to follow her, to live according to God. This law dictates that we are incarnated on Earth in order to develop qualitatively and quantitatively, in particular, by refining (“transmuting”) consciousness in order to move in more and more subtle plans of Creation, in order to enrich the Primordial Consciousness, the Creator of ourselves (source).”

The Divine Fire that lights up in the heart is beautiful, it’s even more than a beautiful image, but is it the same notion? To have the Divine Fire in his heart, and to be an ancient Divine Fire himself, like Dionysus – it seems to me that we have changed our register. Dionysos, Heracles, Hermes, Prometheus and some other figures of the Greek pantheon are called Divine Fire. Lightning played a role in their design for some, others were connected with the heavenly fire, like Prometheus who stole the divine fire to give it to men, his creatures. Wikipedia gives a bit more: “Dionysus was born from Earth struck by lightning,” the Mother Earth fertilized by the heavenly flash of the god Sky “, characteristic birth of a divine fire  (source).”

The title of Divine Fire would be an explicit reference to the fire of heaven, ie lightning. Many ancient gods were the masters of lightning. Zeus, of course, but not only: Cyclops, Cronos, Indra, Perun, Thor, Wotan, Pacal-Votan, Chac, Tlaloc, Ramman, Amon-Ra, Raijin etc. I started writing the Saga of Eden with a vision that illuminated me, that of the Avebury Lightning Power Station. I wanted to call this site The masters of the lightning, so much this discovery which revolutionized my knowledge had shaken my certainties. I quickly understood that the control of the lightning was only a small part of what one can discover while tutelage the ancient myths.

Now I feel carried by a powerful wave, the visions are linked to the rhythm of my readings, my meetings and my dreams. I have so many articles to write, so many time corridors to explore together! Thank you, friend unknown, thank you for your fidelity that encourages me and your enthusiasm that echoes mine.

Each has its own beliefs, and the sacred cows will be well guarded. Our ancestors swallowed everything. They swallowed snakes with the ease of a snake charmer at the square Djema-el-Fnah in Marrakech. For centuries, all these texts remained locked in libraries strictly protected by the Holy See. Until the invention of typography around 1440, all writings were copied by copyists. Monks, most often.  In their convent they copied what the superior told them to copy, omitting and adding what he told them. The control of the Catholic Church was almost total for a long time.

A host of bogus anecdotes, full of errors and anachronisms, were added by the copyists. It was counting without the web, without the planetary dissemination of all the texts that were once inaccessible. And to correct the course.

I am a mythologist and philosopher. As a friend of wisdom, I take a critical look at all mythologies: is it true? Is it distorted? Is it exaggerated? For what reasons? My work has no other purpose than to face the naked truth — if such a thing does exist! “With a critical eye and a mind free of everything a priori. That is why many of you read me.” Your convictions are yours. They help you to live, far from me the idea of dynamiting them, from the ancient Greek dunamos, which means angel.

Let this not prevent believers from believing, nor the unbelievers from not believing. All beliefs are infinitely respectable, although I prefer to align myself with my eternal principle of uncertainty, choosing to believe without believing.
