Egyptology, like other historical disciplines, suffers from the chronic misunderstanding of Egyptologists. I do not blame them, they obey their bosses. The phenomenon of animal gods in Sumer, India, or ancient Egypt could be interpreted in many ways — if one left this shell of prejudice. Narmer is one of the very first kings of ancient Egypt. He reigned during the Thinite period, from the end of the fourth millennium to the beginning of the third millennium BC. Hindu she is not, a gentle she is rather — yet this Mother Goddess of Egypt is undoubtedly a Sacred Cow like those of Hinduism. The Distant

The Distant, also called The Eye of Re (Re or Ra being the creator sun god), is the central character of a myth which, after that of Osiris, was perhaps the most dear to the ancient Egyptians. Triads and Trinity

One should not look very far for the origin of the Holy Trinity. It was largely inspired by the Celtic trinity, Mother Father Son, and other known trinities, all derived from the divine triads of ancient Egypt. Alas, the christian trinity disqualifies itself, since it has dared to replace the Mother — main character of the Egyptian Triads and all the eternal trinities — with the Holy Spirit.

The sexist Hebrews of the patriarchal period could not admit that wisdom is female. As the wife of Horus, Hathor is the mother of Ihy, young god of music. But depending on the locality, her husband can also be Heir in Heracleopolis or Haroeris in Kom Ombo (where she takes the name of Tasenètnéferèt)

In Egypt, the cow symbolizes motherhood. Breastfeeding by the Hathor cow is part of the rites consecrating the birth, coronation, and death of the pharaoh and marking his passage to another state. Its main attribute is of course the crown consisting of the disk of the sun placed between the horns of a cow in the shape of a lyre. Hence her umpteenth nickname: the Lady of Denderah. This temple plays a central role in ancient Egyptian worship, its planisphere occupies a central place in Egyptological studies. What date does science retain for the appearance of the cow? The answer is surprising.

All modern cattle are the descendants of 80 cows that were domesticated 10,500 years ago in Iran from the wild aurochs, demonstrated an international team of researchers. To reconstruct the history of domestic cattle lines, researchers compared small sequence variations observed in the DNA of 15 archaeological cattle with those of modern cows. Frankly, it is dreamy. Would such a small number have populated the entire earth in the space of a few centuries? By the sole resource of natural reproduction, without the help of external means?
