These two aspects of our inner life are happily confused, but they have nothing in common: we mix the transcendent Spirit with the immanent mind. Spirit is eternal, inalienable, absolute. The mind is linked to our animal and mortal condition. A clarification is welcome.
All animals have a mind, no matter how small. They were created by the former gods, archons, and demons. Demon is not a negative word. Socrates spoke with gratitude of his precious daemon, which constantly inspired him with great thoughts. The demon is at ease in the immanent mind; he ignores everything about transcendence and the Spirit. Because he has no soul.
1- Transcendent? Is transcendent what rises above the average level. Synonyms: sublime, superior.
In the philosophical sense, the transcendent supposes an external principle, a higher order of realities.
2- Immanent? In the philosophical sense, is immanent what is contained in the nature of a being and does not come from an external principle.
Immanent, the mind qualifies brain activity: the intellect and its thoughts, its reasonings, its emotions, its will, etc. In a word, everything that is produced or computed by the brain. Is the emotional produced by the brain? A part of it, yes. But not all of it. Unconditional love does not come from the brain, it characterizes our higher nature. It has nothing emotional either.
Humanity is mentally controlled and little more conscious that an average zombie.
Do all thoughts come from the brain? A few years ago, I would have nodded without hesitation. Now, I tend to say that if all our thoughts go through the brain, the latter is at the origin of only a part of them. Others, the most powerful, are sent to us by the higher beings who created the first humankind a few billion years ago.
Humanity today is much more recent: it appeared several million years ago. It is the fifth to deserve this name.
Transcendent, the Spirit deserves a capital letter. It is not produced by the brain. It does not depend on our physical body. It is not linked to human life. Transcendence qualifies the divine, which is beyond, which does not end with the death of the physical body. Even though I still have to introduce a parenthesis here. Is the Spirit eternal? Yes, at this moment, I believe it.
My choice is made, I am on the side of the spirit. But I am not a disciple of Allan Kardek or his emulator Fane Fradier, a converted philosopher who wrote books under the dictation of the dead Master. Fradier, under the dictation of the late Kardek, wrote strange books that founded a kind of sect, spiritism.
This docrine does not interest me. The spiritists are as foreign to my way of being and writing as the ancient Stoics could be… Do not confuse. I am a follower of Castaneda’s practice, but he did not dictate anything to me. First, I talk about what I experienced, like him. But I am certainly more sincere.
A few years ago, I believed that the gods were immortal. Gilgamesh’s questioning showed me that it is not.
“I waited for you, Gilgamesh, son of a god. I owe you the truth. No man can cross this river. Beyond begins the earth-space where the gods are gorging themselves with the ambrosia that gives youth and the nectar of long life. You are a man, Gilgamesh, your fate is death, so the gods willed it when they made men.” (source)
The former gods used a magic potion to prolong their existence. Ambrosia, or whatever you call it, was a panacea, an elixir of long life that allowed you to prolong your physical life by several thousand years — as long as you consumed it regularly.
Men are mortal, gods are eternal, it was believed. Error. All that lives will die. All that dies will live. The gods are alive, so they will die. Their lives can last for thousands of years; one day they will be extinguished. Take the Great Goddess. Her life is not counted in thousands of years, nor in millions.
She is at least four billion years old.
The gods gorged themselves with the ambrosia that gives youth and the nectar of long life. The former gods, I said. It should have been said the earlier goddesses. For they’ve been the first to come, before the gods, before the giants of the first humanity.
When this planet where we are came out of nothingness, when the layers of rocks and sediments that compose it were put in rotation, forming a sphere while piled on its walls, when this planet Ter was a young girl, the goddess was still small.
In the beautiful French language, Ter comes after Bis, which means double. Ter, our earth is triple. Would it be the third of the name? Much more. Over the eons, many earthly planets have left the one we are on. Terra, my earth, is mater in Latin. Mother earth.
What we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses. There is no matter.
This planet was conceived and brought forth by the Goddess. In turn, my land gives birth to new lands, like a fish that would lose its scales, and each scale would give birth to a new fish. This is the dream I had many years ago. A blue ball in the black sky, scales stand out from its surface, each scale transforms into a star, each star gives birth to its planets in the same way.
As everyone knows, if they are awake, dreams are truer than reality.
Rely on dreams for in them is hidden the door to eternity.
Because reality is an illusion, while dreams are sent to us by the omnipotence of Energy and Intention. Reality is the escape of the mind; with nothing but their controlled brains, scientists study and document so-called natural phenomena.
The brain only generates the mind. Knowledge escapes it. The sacred is not within brain’s purview. The astral is beyond its reach. To experience knowledge, you just need to be awake. There aren’t that many on human earth, this Sleeping Beauty.
The spiritual life is the awakening of our essential nature. It gives us the qualities of being so badly needed by modern man: silence, simplicity, serenity, confidence.
An awakened person is continually informed by the Spirit. It is not for nothing that a person of the Christian Trinity is called the Holy Spirit. Too bad he supplanted the Mother. She was before the Father in the Celtic trinity, but what can you say, the rabbis are so misogynist…
Actually the minuscule mind and the Capital Spirit have nothing in common. It is the Spirit who gives the strength to surpass oneself, the will to believe without believing, the energy to reach enlightenment. Mind has nothing to do with it. I leap when I hear the sports competitor or someone else say that he succeeded thanks to his mind. Despite his mind, that’s what he should say.
There is a mental will, but it does not hold water over the long term. The will comes from the belly, from the belly chakra nourished by a powerful kundalini. The mind in this case is more of a hindrance than an engine.
I have always tried to do without the mind, often I have succeeded. In astral, what is the purpose of the mind? Nothing. For the good reason that it does not exist in the astral plane. And will I admit it? The astral attracts me more than the real, the false real, the illusion of reality in which our earthly lives unfold.
In high school, a teacher put this comment on a report card: Séguin knows nothing but he understands everything. This is undoubtedly the most beautiful compliment I have ever received. Instinctive, spontaneous, immediate, this understanding has always seemed magical to me. It is. Without any connection with the slow brain, its speed indicates its astral origin.
Since my teacher’s comment, I’ve learned a few things. But when it comes to understanding something new, I’m as sharp as a whip.
And it was the lightning bolt that made me start this site. Its first version, in 2008, was titled “The Masters of Lightning.” They are the former gods.
The Spirit has guided me to this night, as he led you to me.
